Serial Wire Debug

A 2-pin (SWDIO/SWCLK) wire protocol interface. The standardised interface allows the connection of external debug environments that can control the execution of a system under test in a process of debugging.

It is used in Arm System on Chips to allow transmission of real-time trace data to external debug monitors.
